beaux arts ball

It’s that time of year...BEAUX ARTS BALL...and you are invited! The iida student chapter at UNCG invites you to attend this years event “let the WILD rumpus begin, iarc style!” from the children’s book WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE.

Cafe Pasta & Grille
305 State Street
Greensboro, NC

Bring your appetite to cafe pasta & grille, because this year we are having dinner before the party starts. After dinner, networking, silent auction, best dressed contest, music, and dancing will begin.

Please bring cash/check to pay for your winning bids for the auction that night.

Here is a tentative schedule:

8:00pm arrive at cafe
8:30pm dinner
10:00pm silent auction begins
dj starts the party
11:00pm best dressed contest
12:00am silent auction winners are announced
best dressed prize given
2:00am *BAB is over

Other things to know:

Buffet style dinner [included]:
• salad
• meatball mozzarella in marinara and pasta
• roasted vegetables in a tomato cream sauce and pasta (vegetarian)
• herb bread
• coke products, tea, water.

cash bar: cash/cards accepted.

TICKETS: $15 a person

theory hour : january 18


Please remember to bring the following items to Theory Hour this Friday:

[1] a 5x5" photo (face pic) of yourself (g-rated please!). this can be black and white or color but must be printed on heavy paper or photo stock. the photo, at minimum, must clearly show the participant's face.
[2] drawing media (all sorts) as well as glue sticks, rubber cement, double stick tape, or white glue for adhering the photograph.
[3] an 8x8" square of the ubiquitous brown cardboard. try to use a scrap piece if at all possible! all edges should be neatly trimmed.
